Marian Belgray's an L.A.-based comedian and actor-writer-producer who’s contributed to HBO, Cinemax, Nickmom, Pampers, Comedy Central, Funny or Die, and Parents.com. She's performed at clubs around Los Angeles, including El Cid, The Comedy Store, The Improv, The Upright Citizens Brigade, The Pack Theater, The Resident DTLA, The Virgil, and Akbar. Marian produces and hosts her own shows including "C.U.FirstTuesday," "Group Hug," and "For The Children (But Not Suitable For Children)" and shares thoughts about comedy and motherhood on her blog, “2 C-Sections and a Microphone” and in daily videos as she walks around L.A.("#WalkingInLA) on Instastories.
Inspired since an early age by funny ladies like Carol Burnett and Gilda Radner, Marian's always made it her business to make you laugh. She studied improv, sitcom acting, and sketch writing in New York at The Upright Citizens Brigade and The People's Improv Theater, and in L.A. at Actor's Comedy Studio, IOWest and The Pack Theater.
Marian was recently a finalist in El Cid's Need a Night Out Comedy Festival and in the Laugh Riot Grrrl Festival at Tao Comedy Studio and happily produced/hosted the second annual Citizens of The World Charter fundraiser "For The Children (But Not Suitable For Children) Comedy Night." Marian's got a husband and two kids, all of whom she’s raising adequately. They live in Silverlake, where children and coffee compete with dogs and juice for real estate.
